About This Game

In Iron Stars, you lead a growing spacefaring civilization across realistic star systems inspired by real astronomy. Each system contains planets and moons with meaningful physical properties: gravity, atmosphere, temperature, habitability, resources, and orbital context.

Your empire expands through industry. Colonies produce resources, populations grow over time, and every world can serve a purpose. Fertile planets become population centers. Barren worlds become mining colonies. Icy moons provide fuel and volatiles. Harsh planets may be difficult to settle, but they can still become vital parts of your industrial machine.

As your civilization grows, you must decide which worlds to colonize, how to specialize them, and how to balance population, production, resources, and expansion.
