Why Early Access?

“I have a lot of exciting ideas and features that I want to bring to this game, and as a solo developer, Early Access is the perfect way to do that. It allows me to keep expanding and building the game while getting valuable feedback directly from players. This ensures that the content I add actually aligns with what the community enjoys playing.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to keep the game in Early Access for approximately one year. Depending on player feedback and how the development of new content goes, this timeline might shift slightly, but my goal is to transition to the full release within a 12-month window.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to expand the game throughout Early Access by adding new playable dimensions, additional seed varieties, and new monsters to encounter during raids. I also intend to introduce more farmhouse cosmetics and decorations, while fine-tuning the daily calorie quota balance, difficulty scaling, and co-op stability based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable with 1 to 5 players in online co-op. Currently, the game features 5 playable dimensions, 8 unique monsters, 25 seed varieties to dig up and farm. Players can raid dimensions, manage crop quotas, adjust difficulty settings.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I currently do not plan to change the price when the game leaves Early Access. It is highly likely to remain the same for the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I want to be as open and accessible as possible. I will be actively gathering feedback, suggestions, and bug reports through Discord, my social media channels, and email. I also plan to keep everyone updated with regular development logs and announcements right here on Steam.”

About This Game

Harvest Scream is a high-tension, 1 to 5 player co-op farming horror game where your job is simple: feed the monster, or become its next meal.

You and your crew have been hired by an evil scientist to look after a hungry monster brought from another dimension that only eats crops. Activate capsules to select your destination, drive your tractor into dangerous dimensions, and dig up seeds from rocks. Bring them back to the farmhouse, grow them quickly, and harvest enough food to meet the monster's daily calorie quota before your shift ends.

FARMING & HORROR ARE BETTER WITH FRIENDS

Gather your friends and work as a team to manage the farm and survive the unknown. Whether you are coordinating calorie counts, dividing daily chores, or running for your life as everything goes wrong, this unique mix of farming and survival makes for a great co-op adventure.

THE DAILY GAME LOOP

  • Dimension Raiding: Select a dimension at the capsule each morning and drive your tractor out into the unknown. Manage your fuel to stay longer, solve puzzles to progress, and dig up seeds while calculating their total calorie value on the fly.

  • Survive Unique Entities: Every dimension holds a different threat. Face a variety of terrifying monsters and strange creatures. You must stay alert, adapt to their behaviors, and focus on survival while getting your work done.

  • The Shift Deadline: If you hit the quota before your shift ends, the monster is happy and you sleep safely. Fail to meet it, and a strange fog will sweep across the farm, leaving your crew with nowhere to hide.

Don't spend all your money on the corporate quota. Earn extra cash to buy funny hats, cosmetics, and decorations for your farmhouse.
