What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“DEATHMARK is our first game from our team "Wired Creations Studio", a team made up of ex-game industry and UGC creators who have decided to tackle the daunting task of developing and publishing a game from scratch.

Due to the challenges involved, Early Access is the perfect opportunity to learn and develop what is essentially our first proper standalone game, outside of UGC spaces.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently work on this game on our free time, which we have been doing since early 2025.

As a result of the financial and logistical challenges involved with working on something sporadically on our free time, we are unable to provide a good timeline for when the game will release out of Early Access. Please take this into heavy consideration before buying the game. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Throughout this Early Access period, we have released more roles, more cards, fixed bugs, added popular feature requests, steam achievements, and much more.

For our full release, our ideal vision for the game is some form of VR support, being able to complete and ship planned feature additions, and adding compelling challenges and progression for repeat players to enjoy. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently in DEATHMARK, you are able to connect to other players via a lobby code for private matches. You can also use the server browser to join other players in public lobbies.

The lobby size can seat 4 to 8 players. While the game originally released with only 8 roles, there are currently 12 roles in the game. Every role has two special ability cards and their own special sigil, with a pool of item cards available to everyone.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don't currently have any plans to increase the price, but that may change in the future.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We remain committed to engaging with feedback, take bug reports, listen and implement popular feature requests, and work to sustain the game to the best of our ability. Please allow us some time to respond and address any urgent feedback as DEATHMARK is not the only project we are developing.”

About This Game

DEATHMARK is an occult, table‑top social deduction game where up to 8 players sit around a table, submit their cards or other actions secretly, and watch the chaos ensue. Bluff, redirect, protect, put on trial and betray your so-called friends. Can you survive the DEATHMARK?

A group of silly cultists are attempting to complete a card-based ritual in the In-Between. As the name suggests, it's a realm between the physical plane and the astral plane. The twist? Some cultists among the group are corrupted by an entity and will try to backstab the others to be the only ones to ascend...

  • Untainted: Uncover the Corrupted and eliminate them before you are eliminated using cards or by trialing out suspicious cultists.

  • Corrupted: Eliminate the Untainted and avoid being discovered at all costs.

If we were to describe the way this game works in one word, it'd be "chaotic". But we mean it in a good way!

  • Selection Phase: Everyone selects cards or actions and, if required, targets. Then submits them to the entity using their stamp.

  • Chaos Phase: The entity processes all cards simultaneously, will you gain information this turn? Perhaps your friend will steal one of your cards. Or maybe you'll receive the DEATHMARK? Chaos awaits...

  • Discussion Phase: Discuss with the entire table about the events of the current turn. Did your suspicions fall on someone else? Will you perhaps start a trial against a player you suspect is against you? Be careful, you only get one of those per game...

  • Repeat: The game keeps going until a team is declared the winner (or the host of your lobby loses power all of a sudden). The winning team gets to ascend to the astral plane, hooray!

Every role brings at least two unique Ability cards and a chargeable Sigil—a physical totem on the table that charges as you play and can be activated as a powerful game-changing action when ready. Items are available to all roles and introduce a variety of ways to gather intel and play the game, turning a single turn into a mind‑game.

Create a private lobby code, fill a table, and get ready for a fun game night. Can you figure out who to trust?

  • 4 to 8‑player online social deduction with simultaneous card submissions.

  • Two factions, hidden roles — The Corrupted team knows who they are to each other, but not who is what specific role.

  • Multiple roles with 2 Ability cards + a charge‑based Sigil to flip a round.

  • Private lobby codes for quick party nights.
