About This Game

You shoot, dash toward your cursor and blow up barrels and cars next to the crowd.

Prankocalypse is a top-down shooter with mouse aiming. You are Boris "Titan" Steele, a supermarket security guard, clearing one shopping mall store by store. Influencers came to film a prank, a gnome wizard turned the shoppers into monsters, and everyone you meet treats it as content or a normal day at work.

"When you gaze upon an influencer, remember that the influencer gazes also upon you."

Every big gun is single-use

Your pistol is the only weapon you can reload. Everything stronger has a fixed number of shots, then falls apart in your hands.

• Fire 6 shotgun shells or 4 RPG rockets; the blast hurts you too.

• Swing a melee weapon on its own button while you keep shooting.

• Dash toward your cursor and slow time for up to 5 seconds.

Someone is filming all of this

In the underground car park you meet a freelance cameraman on a job that ends at six. He films you, not the zombies, walking backwards ahead of you and commenting on the shot. Lose him and he comes back later, and something has happened to him that he will not explain.

They fight with prank props

The monsters used to be shoppers. They throw water balloons, shoes and food, or scream through a megaphone. Clowns dash at you and burning ones set you on fire on contact. Others wait inside giant mushrooms and potted plants until you walk past.

• Shoot a car to blow up the crowd around it.

• Cross the supermarket between floor spikes and saws on rails.

• Avoid the flame cannon, the electric lake and the falling pallets.

• 5 firearms and a melee weapon with a three-hit combo

• 22 zombie types, 20 trap types, over a thousand hand-placed enemies

• Boss fights, from a dumbbell-throwing bodybuilder guard to the gnome wizard on the rooftop

• English and Polish text and voice, set separately; 169 recorded voice clips

Mouse and keyboard, no aim assist. Progress saves between levels.

Dark humor and cartoon violence: ragdolls, orange blood, stains that stay on the floor.

Planned for launch

• Local co-op for two on one screen; player two gets a controller and a cursor of their own.

• Survival mode: one arena, endless enemies, barrels to blow up and a kill counter, solo or in co-op.

Neither mode is in the game yet.
