Explore the intricate Hundred Window Court Hotel; walk immersively through the snowy 80's Chinese countryside; or watch out for monsters from the darkness of an abandoned factory. LOSTLIMINAL is a quirky first-person exploration and deconstruction game based on the BackRoom urban legend! Players will take on the role of a wanderer lost in the backroom hierarchy, searching for their past in a variety of surreal threshold spaces and determining the ultimate outcome based on their choices!

Story Overview

After a car crash, the protagonist falls into a surreal space that defies the laws of reality, while their traveling companion goes missing without a trace. Explore the silent yet perilous Hundred-Window Courtyard Hotel, the cold and dark winter countryside, a childhood neighborhood that feels both familiar and eerie—and uncover the source behind it all. Can you recover your lost companion in this surreal liminal space? Confront entities lurking in the darkness, and when the final moment comes, face your own destiny.

Surreal Liminal Spaces

Crafted by the original art team behind Backrooms Lost, this game brings you the bizarre and mesmerizing aesthetic of liminal spaces. With rich, detailed environments, intricately arranged yet atmospheric sub-levels, and a pervasive sense of unease hidden throughout the world—every step immerses you deeper into the unknown.

Welcome to the liminal space! An unexplored realm detached from reality.

Linear Storyline & Multiple Endings

Live the story of an ordinary person accidentally trapped in a liminal space. Piece together fragmented memories across different layers, search for clues within the distorted environments, and find a way back to reality. With multiple endings available, every choice you make determines the direction of the narrative.

Beware the Entities in the Dark

Predators lurking in the shadows watch your every move. One wrong decision, and they will swarm and devour you. Whether you proceed with caution or choose to confront them head-on—your survival depends on it.

Engaging & Thoughtful Gameplay

Each layer challenges you to find a way out. You may gather firewood to survive the freezing snow, navigate the endless looping corridors of a hotel, or solve puzzles on office computers. Every stage introduces unique mechanics centered around its own theme. Don’t worry—it’s all about using your wits and thinking one step ahead.
