Citizens of the Empire, players of taste, and lovers of stories.

We stand at the midpoint of our campaign to bring you a visual novel set in the age of Ancient Rome. With your patience and support, we approach the final chapters of this journey. We have provided a roadmap of our plans below.

 Chapter I — THE FOUNDATIONS ARE LAID (Completed) 2024 - Spring 2025 

The early victories are already behind us:

• Historical research conducted with scholarly precision

• An original, cinematic score in production — evocative of Roman life 

•  Half the narrative already written, with dramatic arcs and authentic voices taking form

 Chapter II — THE MIDDLE CAMPAIGN (Late Summer) 

As summer burns, so does our focus:

• Complete the story
  The remaining chapters are being forged with attention to history, pacing, and emotional resonance.

• Finish the score
  We're currently crafting a unique soundscape classical and authentic with real ancient instruments.

• Gameplay systems integration
  Improving current mechanics.

• Polish the UI
  Dynamic UI that evolves as you play.

 Chapter III — THE FINAL STRUCTURES (Autumn) 

With the Colosseum of code nearly built:

• Closed testing. Balancing, bug-fixing, and refining.

• Voice acting (if time permits)
  Select scenes may come to life with voice, if the time and budget allows.

• Bonus features
  Watch this space.

 Chapter IV — THE MARCH TO RELEASE (Autumn-Winter) 

The campaign nears its end. All roads lead to…

• Final edits, final polish, final choices.

• Marketing.

• Public demo released.

 Chapter V — THE TRIUMPH (Launch) 

We aim to complete the full experience by December/Saturnalia 2025.

Swords are tempered and forged in flame. So too are games shaped by time and vision.

 INSCRIPTION 

The augurs read the sky, but the omens are all wrong. Birds move in twisting patterns that shouldn’t exist, casting shadows where no light should fall. I long to trace the lines in the dust, find a purer meaning, but these cursed shapes shift every time I blink.

Gods whisper everywhere, but not words. Flickers of sanguine torchlight, immense weights of unseen penetrating eyes, a name I do not remember knowing.. WHO CARVES THIS PATH!?

Sibyls once dined on speeches at the junctions of the Via Appia, but no roads remain here, only the faint and dappled echoes of feet that once did tread.

Reach forward will you? Steady yourself it's going to happen again, the beginning of all the endings the part where the world tilts.

Somewhere, somewhere else, the something reaches back...
