Why Early Access?

“The goal is to keep the early access timeframe under six months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add new features such as a Cafe and Custom Books. We plan to polish and refine the game based on community feedback. We also want to expand on existing features by adding a new location, more books to sell, and more decor items.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the game is fully playable with progression. Everything listed in the About This Game section is currently available in the game. There are currently 3 different locations, each offering differing layouts, sizes, and some items exclusive to that location. There are 8 different product types including books, comic books, manga, used books, rare books, mythical books with power-ups to improve your store, bookmarks, candy, and board games. Employees can be hired and assigned jobs and shop cats can be adopted.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to have a small increase in pricing upon leaving Early Access based on the new content and features added during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a Discord server open to the public where we handle everything from taking bug reports, making announcements, to more thoroughly communicating plans. We encourage users to join to share ideas and provide feedback on the game. We will also be paying attention to the Steam Community forums for community engagement for those who don't want to join us on Discord.”
