«Red Tears is an ambitious singleplayer game made by a solo developer. Allowing myself to gain player feedback on every aspect of the game, whether it be technical issues, mechanics, ideas etc will be very helpful in creating a quality experience.»

«Atleast 1 year. I plan to release patches and updates to the game as much as I can (Roughly every week or few months).»

«The full version is planned to have much more content (new maps, weapons etc), additional features to enhance the gameplay and experience aswell as possibly additional gamemodes (new game +, extraction mode etc). Refer to the roadmap or ask for more details.»

«While I have a pretty strong vision in mind for the game, I have a discord server where I post frequent updates on this game and other projects, which has channels for discussion. I will be active in the discord, browse the Steam community hub and Youtube as much as possible to gain feedback and interact with players, and potentially make changes to the game accordingly.»

Brutal Bush Warfare in an Open World Historical setting.

Red Tears: Angola is a fast-paced and immersive stealth-action first person shooter. Take advantage of your tools and environment to surprise and survive against outnumbering odds.

Welcome to Angola in the late 1970s. As a fighter surviving in a hostile open world, avoid dynamic patrols and attack outposts for intel, resources and conquer alongside your faction.

Features

  • Playable Factions - UNITA, MPLA (SADF, Cuba and Portugal to come in Future Updates).

  • Choose your approach with each encounter - stealth or loud.

  • Brutal Takedown & Healing animations.

  • Variety of Cold War-era weapons & gadgets, with jamming & crafting.

  • Nonlinear Open World with chaotic AI Skirmishes & Faction Conquest.

  • Capturable Outposts and smaller locations which can change hands dynamically.

  • "Operation" Missions - Assassination Targets, POW Squad Rescue etc. Which can generate, persist & expire independent of player action.

  • "Faction Conquest" Gamemode. Chaotic & Dynamic Sandbox where 2 Factions fight for control over territory.

  • "Behind Enemy Lines" Gamemode. Randomised objectives with limited lives. Complete all Operations before Extracting.

  • Random Events - (Patrols, Hostages, Cargo etc).

  • Intel Gathering System & Map Fog of War.

  • Death Events - Get captured as Hostage or Rescued by Allies.

  • Dense Foliage, hide in shrubs, climb trees and avoid snakes!

  • Customisable difficulty settings - Adjust Global damage output and AI Difficulty to suit your experience.
