About This Game

Sahar. never ends until you make it stop!

You're the night-shift security guard at a small hospital, and the job is simple: walk the ward, check on the patients, and decide, is everything fine, or is something wrong?

Sometimes the answer is obvious. Sometimes it isn't:

Watch the cameras from the safety of the reception desk, or walk the halls yourself for a closer look, camera feeds are safer, but they miss what only a closer look, or a careful ear, can catch. Every choice costs you something: time, safety, or certainty.

Hospital Punishment:

Get it wrong once, and someone doesn't make it to morning. The empty room stays empty — locked, watched only by camera, for the rest of the run.

Get it wrong twice, and the shift starts over. All the way back to Night One. No save. No mercy. Whether that warning at the start of your first shift is telling the truth you won't know until the end.

No Repetitive, No Boring:

Anomalies are never scripted the same way twice, so no walkthrough will save you. And in the halls between patient rooms, past the line the cameras can't reach, something occasionally decides the rules don't apply to it.

Set in a small hospital grounded in real Egyptian and MENA detail, a call to prayer drifting through the ward at odd hours, cup of tea everywhere. Sahar: Night Shift isn't set in a place borrowed from someone else's horror movie. It's set somewhere real.

Features:

  • A tense, escalating loop structure, every night raises the stakes.

  • Two ways to investigate: fast and safe, or close and dangerous.

  • A living, randomized anomaly system, no two runs play the same.

  • A single shared consequence system, no traditional "death", but that doesn't mean you're safe.

  • A rare, scripted chase sequence that can find you when you least expect it.

  • A setting built from real regional detail, not horror-genre shorthand.
