About This Game

Flames in Modern Europe is a real-time global strategy with next-generation graphics that takes you to modern Europe, where every decision you make can change the course of history! Immerse yourself in the major events of our century - from political crises and economic shocks to the war in Ukraine, or create your own alternative history, with a civil war in Germany and the return of Bonapartism!

Build up the economy, develop your state and strengthen its influence. Conduct diplomatic negotiations, form alliances, simply buy historical territories or start wars with neighboring states. Make difficult decisions and rewrite the history of modern Europe.

As of autumn 2026, that is, on the second anniversary of the announcement, the game remains in active development and receives regular updates that add a lot of new content, such as new mechanics, storylines for different countries, expansion of existing ones, graphics improvements and numerous optimisations. CORE MECHANICS

• Courses: your storyline and plan for achieving greatness in Europe. Currently available for several major countries, including Ukraine, which has more than 500 courses from 2013 to 2025!

• Mentality: change the traits of your people’s mentality to adapt them to your needs! Make them believe that dictatorship is cool, or that pacifism will save everyone!

• Parliament: pass or repeal various laws, but don’t forget to secure the support of the relevant parties!

• Decisions: make important decisions for your country that will help you fight corruption, improve stability and support, or even allow the sale of regions of your country.

• Economy: build new structures that will work for the benefit of the state, such as

  • Offices that will bring new revenues to the state treasury

  • Factories to sell equipment from clothing to engines and supply your army!

  • Laboratories that will work on new technologies

  • Nuclear and other power plants, on which not only domestic consumers depend, but whose energy can also be sold to other states!

  • Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), which will fight corruption in your country!

  • And much more, from roads to spaceports!

• Use the budget menu to edit spending and efficiency in various areas of the country, such as construction, research, army, administration and social spending. Hire additional construction companies to speed up construction! Use the debt menu to replenish the treasury, carry out numerous financial manoeuvres or simply declare default if necessary. And don’t forget about taxes!

• Research: research new technologies that will help your country become the most progressive.

• Army: create new brigades based on your own templates, or launch nuclear weapons that will leave permanent scars on the Earth...

The purpose of the game is to immerse players in a different course of events in modern Europe, and not to recreate real history or political reality.
