“Early Access helped me improve Effulgence RPG with player feedback. During this time I added new content, improved combat and controls, and fixed many issues reported by players. The game is now close to its 1.0 release.”

“Effulgence RPG entered Early Access in December 2025 and will leave Early Access on September 10, 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The 1.0 version has a much longer campaign, around 5–7 hours for a typical playthrough. It also has more locations, enemies, bosses, story content and tactical options.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable and includes the main game systems: exploration, party combat, particle crafting, the matter printer, equipment, saves and controller support. The 1.0 update will add the final content and polish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The base price has already been increased ahead of 1.0. There will be no additional price increase when the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I read Steam discussions, reviews and bug reports. Player feedback has already helped improve combat, controls, interface and accessibility. Feedback will remain welcome after the 1.0 release.”

About This Game

A WORLD MADE OF CHARACTERS

Everything you see in Effulgence RPG is built from text characters arranged into 3D forms. Landscapes, creatures, machines and effects come to life as these forms move, rotate and transform throughout a strange sci-fi world.

ENEMIES ARE THE RESOURCE

Defeated enemies break apart into particles. Collect them and use the matter printer to create new weapons and equipment. You can even print during battle, turning fallen enemies into tools for the fights ahead.

FIGHT AS A PARTY

Control four heroes in tactical turn-based battles, each with their own strengths and abilities. Upgrade their skills, combine weapons, cartridges and mechanisms, and adapt to enemies and bosses with their own rules and mechanics.

A COMPACT RPG ADVENTURE

Effulgence RPG is a focused adventure that doesn't demand a hundred-hour commitment. A typical playthrough takes around 5–7 hours, with varied locations, story encounters, secrets and bosses along the way.
