About This Game

Doll Town is a psychological horror game where players uncover the haunting mystery of a once-thriving village that has been cursed into a twisted, eternal nightmare. You play as a young Japanese student who, upon arriving for a part-time job in a desolate town, becomes ensnared in a macabre world where tragic events endlessly replay and the residents are lifelike dolls made from flesh and bone.

After a panicked boy leads you to the school rooftop, you witness what seems to be a real suicide—a girl, bullied and broken, jumps to her death. Now, you must explore the eerie town, solve twisted puzzles, and face the reanimated memories of the town’s victims—the seven dolls who represent those responsible for the tragedy.

With each doll you confront, you unravel more of the town's dark history. But as you navigate the town’s sinister secrets, you discover that Doll Town is a place where the line between life, death, and doll is blurred, and the real puppet master behind the scenes has much darker intentions. Can you break the cycle of torment, or will you too become a part of the dollhouse forever?

Key Features:
  • Deep Psychological Horror: Experience a story-driven horror game that combines atmospheric tension with emotional devastation.
  • Puzzle-Based Exploration: Solve intricate, Saw-like puzzles and unlock the hidden memories of each doll's tragic story to progress.
  • Cursed Town: Navigate through a hauntingly beautiful but twisted Japanese town, filled with disturbing secrets, lifelike dolls, and dark memories.
  • Narrative Driven: Unfold the mystery of Mio's death and the seven dolls through immersive storytelling, haunting flashbacks, and heart-wrenching confrontations.
  • Reenactments and Illusions: Witness surreal and horrifying reenactments of tragic events, never knowing what is real or a product of Doll Town's curse.
  • Atmospheric Immersion: With no electricity and an abandoned feel, each area is designed to chill with its eerie silence, ambient sounds, and subtle clues.

Doll Town will pull you into a nightmare where the only way out is to solve the twisted riddle behind Mio’s tragic fate. But beware—the deeper you go, the harder it is to distinguish reality from the dollmaker’s cruel illusions.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

"Welcome to Doll Town" contains content that may not be suitable for all audiences. The game features intense psychological horror elements, including depictions of graphic violence, gore, and disturbing imagery. Players will encounter scenes involving dismemberment, mutilation, and the use of human body parts to create lifelike dolls. These scenes are designed to evoke fear and discomfort, contributing to the overall atmosphere of dread.

The storyline also addresses sensitive themes such as self-harm, suicide, and mental illness. One of the key narrative points involves a character’s struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts, leading to a tragic outcome that is central to the plot. While there are no explicit depictions of sexual acts or sexual violence, the game explores themes of emotional manipulation and psychological torment, which may be distressing to some players.

Players should be aware that the game’s mature content is intended to create a deeply unsettling experience, with an emphasis on horror and psychological tension. Viewer discretion is advised.
