What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Motocross The Game aims to be the most authentic motocross simulation available, and physics, bike handling and racing feel are areas where the community's input is essential. Early Access lets us put the game in riders' hands now and fine-tune the physics, tracks and multiplayer based on real feedback from motocross fans, rather than developing behind closed doors. Playing together, we can shape the game into what the community has been asking for.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently plan for Early Access to last approximately 12 to 18 months, depending on community feedback and the scope of the features we add.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access, we plan to add:
- More tracks
- Dedicated servers supporting up to 40 riders per race
- An advanced ranking and competition system
- Further improvements to bike physics and handling
- Dynamic terrain deformation (ruts, braking bumps and track evolution during a race)
- Officially licensed OEM bikes
- Expanded rider and bike customization
- Real-life championship content”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable and includes:
- Custom-built, advanced bike physics simulation
- Online peer-to-peer multiplayer with full race events (multi-moto format)
- Lobby and party/grouping system
- Several tracks in a near-final state
- Multiple bikes
- Rider and bike customization
- Easy Anti-Cheat protection

As with any Early Access title, you may run into bugs, balancing issues and content that is still being polished.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to increase the price at the full 1.0 release as new content and features are added. Buying during Early Access is the best way to get the game at its lowest price while helping shape its development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll share regular updates and development news through Steam announcements and our official website, and we'll collect feedback through the Steam forums and our Discord server. We also plan to launch a companion mobile app to keep riders connected with the project. Player feedback will directly guide our priorities for physics tuning, track design and new features.”

About This Game

Motocross The Game is a competition-first motocross simulator, built by riders for riders. Real bike physics, real tracks and real opponents, starting on PC in Early Access, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions to follow.

You don't steer a weight. You ride a machine. MTG simulates the bike and the rider as two separate physics bodies. Shift your body to lock the front wheel into a rut, load the rear for drive out of a berm, adjust your pitch mid-air, and throw whips and scrubs with real precision.

The 250F and 450F each get their own engine, gearbox, suspension and power-delivery model, so they ride like two different animals.

Built in Unreal Engine 5. From the hard-pack of Rödeby and the deep ruts of Midsummer Carnage to the sand of Pacific Crown, every layout asks for its own lines, braking points and setup. Dynamic lighting, detailed dirt rendering, and sound design that tells you what the bike is doing before you see it.

Packed gates, every night. Line up on dedicated servers and race real opponents. Queue into matchmaking, or set up private, invite-only races for your crew or league.

A Dual Rating System tracks your Skill Rating (pace and results) and your Safety Rating (track etiquette), so clean, fast riders end up racing each other.

Ranked to the millisecond. Every time-attack track has a live global leaderboard per bike class, also visible on our website. Learn the line, shave the tenths, and put your name above the world's fastest. Regular challenges keep the board moving.

Show up at the gate looking like you. Build your rider from helmet to boots with authentic gear from our partner brands, then design your bike's graphics. Your setup is saved between sessions and visible to everyone online.

In the workshop, tune gearing, suspension and tyre pressure for every layout.

New to sim racing? Start here. A full set of adjustable rider assists lets you learn weight transfer, throttle and clutch control at your own pace. Turn them down one by one until it's just you and the bike.

Shaped with the community. Early Access opens in November 2026, with Kickstarter backers riding first. Alpha riders have already changed how our tracks ride, and we publish a development update every month.

Coming next: our proprietary terrain deformation system, more content, esports tournaments, and the console version.

Our team brings around 30 years of combined motocross and video game experience, plus 10+ years of running online game servers. Join race nights and livery contests with thousands of riders, and help us close the gap between real and virtual motocross.
