Why Early Access?

“The core gameplay of Backrooms Cleanup Crew is implemented and we are adding new levels over time. Our goal is to update with about 2 new levels per month until the main story is complete. As a 2 person team, your feedback gives us valuable perspective and enables us to make improvements during development. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We will be in Early Access until we have completed the main story levels, which will be 3 chapters of 8 levels each in total. At our current update rate, we estimate full release in mid-2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have additional levels, unlockable content including cosmetics, polish, and quality of life improvements based on Early Access feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently we have released all of Chapter 1 and 6 levels of Chapter 2. The gameplay is fully functional in 4 player online co-op.”

We are active on Discord and usually respond quickly if you have a question or want to share your experience with us. About This Game

Backrooms Cleanup Crew is a multiplayer cleaning simulator where you step into the role of a humble cleaner working for F-Corp. You are tasked with cleaning the aftermath of other corporations’ mishaps in the Backrooms. However, nothing is ever that simple in the Backrooms: Clean each room as quickly as possible while avoiding increasingly deadly Incursions.

Backrooms Cleanup Crew currently has 10 playable levels and on average it takes 2 hours to experience all of the unique content. More levels will be added throughout Early Access.

Team up with up to 3 other players to make quick work of cleaning a variety of levels. Switch between different nozzle types to suit the cleaning at hand.

In addition to scrubbing walls, collect and bin all of the objects in the level. Don’t worry about being gentle—feel free to toss items across the room to speed up the process!

Beware increasingly difficult and deadly Incursions - dodge between attacks while cleaning any glowing markings to prevent new attacks. Gain power from clearing these markings to make your cleaning even faster.

In addition to the Normal game mode described above, Backrooms Cleanup Crew can be played on Hard and Peaceful modes.
