“We chose to release Far Planet: Builder in Early Access because we want the full release version to already have a solid and polished core experience, while continuing to improve and expand the game based on player feedback.
The current version already includes two chapters of story content and a free mode. The core gameplay loops for trading, shop management, and commerce are already in a relatively solid state. However, we believe the AI-related systems still need further iteration with the help of community feedback — especially the integration between NPC interaction mechanics and the overall gameplay loop.
Through Early Access, we hope players can participate earlier in testing and feedback, helping us continue refining the AI systems, economic gameplay, and long-term content experience.”

“We currently expect the Early Access period to last around 6 months.
During this time, we plan to continue updating and expanding the game with:

This is our current roadmap, but the direction may evolve based on community feedback throughout development.”

Players can already experience the full core gameplay loop. The two-chapter story mode currently offers roughly 3 hours of gameplay.
The free mode includes three playable identities — Merchant, Branch Manager, and Tycoon — as well as a custom mode with a high degree of freedom.
For the best AI gameplay experience, we recommend staying connected to the internet while playing.
The game is a one-time purchase with no additional fees. Our AI systems run on self-hosted open-source models deployed on the cloud, and we also provide open model interfaces so players can freely replace or customize the models if you wish.”

“We currently do not plan to change the price during or after Early Access. The price of the 1.0 full release will remain the same as the Early Access version.”

During Early Access, we especially hope players will share feedback regarding:

We are a small team of around a dozen developers, and community feedback is extremely important to us. Many aspects of the AI gameplay experience still require detailed iteration and polishing.
We will also regularly share update logs and bug-fix progress so players can clearly understand the direction and priorities of development throughout the Early Access period.”
