About This Game

Survive to spectral hordes in Defy The Abyss, a top down horde survivor game: swap between characters and create powerful combinations to dispel the unstoppable hordes that want to destroy you. Go for a long hunt with no bonuses or choose between different play challenges while you get stronger and unlock new characters, special moves and dynamic perks for your team.

Don't surrender in your fight: Defy The Abyss

  • Until the end: Defy the Abyss is a horde survival top down shooter where you will fight in a dungeon against hordes of ghosts, specters and supernatural creatures.

  • Choose your destiny: Pick from a wide variety of challenges in each run, like Time Survival, Relic Protection and Combo Challenges, or go for a survival-only mission.

  • Form your team: Switch between characters in real time and form synergies to discover new strategies.

  • Mix and improve: Different characters, special attacks, upgrades and perks will change the course of every run.

  • Rise from the death: You can revive between challenges, at a cost...

  • Ready to go: Simple control scheme to help you find your way out of this hell, for both desktop and game pads with remapping available.
