What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The decision to adopt an Early Access model stems from our belief that player feedback is crucial for the final refinement of the game. Currently, the core experience and most of the gameplay mechanics are quite mature. However, we recognize that the game's background story and the communication and interaction experiences with other townsfolk still need optimization to enhance player immersion. This includes enriching the main storyline, creating home environments for the townsfolk, and introducing mechanisms for townsfolk to invite players to participate in events.

Through the Early Access model, I hope to collaborate closely with the player community during the final stages of development. This way, I can improve various elements of the game based on player feedback and ensure that these changes truly meet the expectations of the players. I believe that through this approach, I can create a more engaging and deep gaming experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate that the Early Access phase for this game will last approximately 3 to 5 months. During this time, we will make adjustments and improvements to the game based on player feedback, ensuring that the final version provides the best possible gaming experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“To distinguish the full version from the Early Access version, we plan to expand and improve the following areas:

Enrich the Game's Background Worldview: We will deepen the game's world-building by crafting richer and more cohesive background stories, providing players with a more immersive gaming experience.

Enhance Interactions with Townsfolk: We will optimize the interactions between players and townsfolk, adding more dynamic dialogues and events to make each encounter more meaningful.

We place great value on player feedback and will continuously improve the game based on player suggestions. While we cannot make specific commitments about future events, we are committed to making the game a fun and creative space. As development progresses, we will share more information and roadmaps within our community to ensure players are involved throughout the development process.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the overall experience and most of the core gameplay mechanics are well-developed, as detailed in the game description under "About This Game." I have built a solid foundation, including the main systems and mechanics of the game, ensuring players can enjoy a smooth gaming experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as new content and features are introduced.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback Mechanisms:
Dedicated Forums, Steam Discussion Groups, or Discord Servers: Create specific sections or servers to encourage players to provide feedback and report bugs.
Regular Reviews: Regularly check these platforms for feedback and ensure team members respond to player questions and suggestions.
Regular Updates:
Provide regular game updates, including fixes for known issues, new features, or improvements to existing systems.
Publish detailed patch notes before and after each update, explaining what has been changed and why.
Community Voting:
For certain in-game decisions, such as the direction of new features or specific design choices, allow players to vote.
This not only increases player engagement but also ensures that the game's direction aligns with the expectations of the majority of players.
Transparent Development Progress:
Regularly update players on development progress and future plans through blog posts, social media posts, or developer logs.
This helps build trust and keeps players informed about how their feedback is being incorporated and implemented.
Social Media Interaction:
Actively engage with players on platforms like Twitter, Reddit, and others.
Share behind-the-scenes stories, development progress, and previews of upcoming updates.”

About This Game

Imagine leaving behind endless meetings and the incessant ping of notifications marked "99+," and embarking on a fresh start in a picturesque coastal town. This is the promise of Little Life: Idyllic Town Tales – an opportunity to escape urban chaos and return to a simpler way of living.

In this game, you'll trade your white-collar job in the big city for life in this scenic village, where the pace slows down and everyone feels like a friendly neighbor. You have the freedom to choose your lifestyle: one day you might be a salesperson peddling local specialties, the next tending to your own farm, and later, perhaps, become a diver exploring the depths of the ocean.

Over time, you'll find yourself settling into the town, acquiring a cherished vehicle, a cozy villa, and maybe even meeting that special someone. Planting vegetables in your own garden, petting your house cat, and savoring every bit of simplicity and purity in life.

Little Life: Island Chronicles is more than just a game; it's a journey about slowing down and enjoying life. Let's immerse ourselves in this tranquility and joy together!

Game Introduction

Little Life: Island Chronicles invites you to step into the serene world of Housai Town, far from urban hustle, and experience a unique island lifestyle. In this warm and opportunity-filled town, leave your past behind, redefine your life, and explore endless possibilities. From scratch, whether you aspire to be a renowned street-savvy salesperson, diligently cultivate your farm and island, or drive around in a compact car discovering every corner, each choice is yours. The game lacks a fixed script but offers a realm brimming with potential, allowing you to find your own pace of life amidst a relaxed atmosphere.

Rich and Varied Career Experiences

Little Life: Island Chronicles presents a career path filled with infinite possibilities. Be the town's favorite clothing vendor, using your gift of gab and negotiation skills (through a unique DBG card system) to win customers' hearts, or join the ranks of Housai Knights, zipping through the town's streets on a scooter, spreading warmth and convenience. Roles such as farmers, divers, street performers, and more, each designed with deep interaction and growth mechanisms, ensure a colorful lifestyle as you embody different characters.

Flexible Career Mechanics

In sales roles, we introduce an innovative negotiation card system where players collect and strategically use cards to boost sales success or negotiate better prices while shopping, infusing daily life with strategic fun. This not only challenges your wit but also makes every transaction interactive and full of surprises, ensuring a sense of accomplishment and the authenticity of life in every conversation.

Deep Social Interactions

In Little Life: Island Chronicles, socializing goes beyond dialogue boxes; it's a meticulously crafted interaction system that enables players to genuinely feel the warmth of human connections. Forge deep friendships with townsfolk by giving gifts, participating in their daily lives, and potentially developing romantic relationships leading to marriage. Remarkably, the townsfolk possess their personalities and initiative, offering discounts or gifts based on your relationship, like the vegetable stand owner giving you a markdown or the fruit shop clerk gifting you fruits, adding a touch of warmth and authenticity to every interaction.

Home Building & Customization

The game's home system offers a range of options from modest apartments to luxurious villas, letting players select their dwelling based on preference and financial status. Home isn't just a place to rest but a space to express individuality. Furniture malls are stocked with a myriad of furniture and decorations, enabling players to freely design their dream haven, from layout to style. As the game progresses, homes unlock more features, becoming a crucial pillar for character growth.

Island Exploration & Development

Housai Town and its surrounding islands conceal rich natural resources and unsolved mysteries, awaiting your exploration. Beyond farming and raising livestock on your land, you can even purchase entire islands for large-scale cultivation, becoming an island tycoon. Your actions directly impact Housai Town's development; by completing missions and participating in public facility construction, you witness firsthand the town's transformation from simplicity to prosperity, feeling the value of your contributions.

Authentic Life Simulation

The game deeply simulates various aspects of life, from daily farming to street vending, striving to replicate the reality of living. Players must personally tend to fields and animals, experiencing the hardships of labor alongside the joys of harvest. Additionally, real-life skills, like crafting systems that convert gathered resources into practical tools and equipment, deepen immersion and gameplay.

Diverse Vehicles & Crafting Systems

In Little Life: Island Chronicles, vehicles serve not just as means of transportation but companions in exploring the world. From basic bicycles to quirky tricycles and cars, or even owning a repaired ship to navigate wider seas, the vehicle system enhances mobility and enriches exploration. Furthermore, the crafting system empowers players to utilize resources to create or upgrade tools and gear, catering to diverse professional and lifestyle needs, thus heightening interactivity and engagement.

Little Life: Island Chronicles is more than a game; it's a journey about life, choices, and growth. It encourages players to explore life's endless possibilities within a pleasant environment, savoring the fulfillment of each effort and the warmth from every interaction, ultimately discovering their own little joys in life.
