About This Game

Touhou Rumble Banquet is an unofficial Touhou Project platform fighter. Rack up damage, then knock your opponents off the stage.

11 Fighters from the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil

Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Sakuya Izayoi, Remilia Scarlet and 7 more, all available from the start. Reimu fights with charms, barriers and a short teleport; Marisa with Mini-Hakkero blasts and broom rushes. Everyone shares the same basic controls.

Knock Them Off the Stage

Land hits to raise your opponent's damage percentage, then launch them off the stage. Chase them as they try to recover, or wait for them at the ledge.

Last Spells and Items

Casual rules add items and a Last Spell for every fighter. Competitive rules turn both off.

Local, CPU and Online Play

Up to four players on one PC, with CPU opponents if you need them. Online play is one-on-one with rollback netcode.

Tutorial and Training

A tutorial for the basic controls and a training mode for trying out moves.

Japanese Voices

Japanese character and announcer voices. Japanese and English text.

Generative AI was used during development. Some 3D models and textures for characters, backgrounds and props, concept art, painted stage background art (generated, then edited), UI and effect images, the synthesized character and announcer voices, and part of the background-music accompaniment were made with generative AI, then edited and adjusted. Sound effects are recorded material combined with procedural synthesis. AI assistance was also used for programming and translation. The game does not generate any content during play.
