Why Early Access?

“We are currently working on many new systems to be added. By releasing in early access we want to lay a solid foundation before adding more features. Therefore we want to include the community's feedback in the development process.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for it to remain in early access for approximately 2 or 3 months. During this period, we will focus on fixing bug reports from our community and adding the new features we have planned. This duration may change according to community suggestions and development needs. Our priority will be to make the full version of the game the best it can be.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Ideas from our community will be evaluated and innovations or improvements will be applied accordingly as long as they are compatible with the Ruhbaz world and its main vision. The full version aims to offer a richer and more balanced experience thanks to this collaboration. Pet system, new islands, new treasure chests, new creatures and new weapons are the features we are currently planning to add.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It includes basic survival mechanics and a multiplayer structure. Players can gather resources, build shelters, and engage in cooperation or competition with other players. The core loop systems of exploration, crafting, farming, animal husbandry, construction, survival, and combat are active. However, our work on optimization and balance continues.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price stable during early access, but we plan to make a small increase when content and systems expand in the full version. This decision will be shaped according to the progress of the development process.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use Steam discussion forums, our official Discord server, and regular surveys.”

About This Game

Survive on a post-apocalyptic fantasy island. Gather resources, craft, build structures, search for treasure, and defend your obelisk against both the cursed and other players. How you prepare and what you prioritize are entirely up to you.

Survive

Find food and water, hunt, fish, and farm. Use the resources you gather to survive on the island and prepare for the threats ahead.

Craft and Arm Yourself

Use the resources you gather to craft tools, equipment, and weapons. Use bows, crossbows, and melee weapons, as well as 17th-century firearms such as flintlock pistols, rifles, and blunderbusses.

Build and Defend

You begin beside an obelisk. Build walls and defensive structures around it. Defend against the cursed who attack at regular intervals while staying alert to the threat posed by other players.

Explore

Explore different parts of the island and uncover treasures buried beneath the ground. Every treasure you dig up also awakens the skeletons buried with it.

PvPvE Combat

Compete with other players for the same resources and territories while also facing skeletons and the island’s other threats. Choose whether to arm yourself, strengthen your defenses, search for treasure, farm, or explore.

Develop Your Character

Level up and develop your character with the rewards you earn at the end of each match.

Story

Before the apocalypse, an ancient tree gave life to the continent and watched over the balance of souls. People lived peacefully in its shade until one of them, driven by a desire for power and absolute dominion, stole the tree’s secrets. He learned to absorb the power of souls into his own essence and began stealing the souls of the living to gain even more power.

The ancient tree raised the waters to cleanse the world and begin its rebirth. It brought its followers to Obelisk Island and allowed them to absorb the souls of the cursed into their own essence so they could cleanse the world of the cursed.

The ancient tree imprisoned the souls of the soul thief’s followers within their own skeletons. Driven to rage by their unending longing for life, these souls attack anyone who is still alive.

You are one of the ancient tree’s followers. The old world has sunk beneath the waters. Now you must survive, absorb the souls of the cursed into your own essence, defend your obelisk, and rebuild civilization.
