About This Game

Among Shadows is an asymmetric PvP fantasy social-deduction game where identity deduction meets fast-paced combat. The Order of the Secret Fire is dispatched deep into the blighted lands to halt the spread of the infection. Savage monsters roam this corrupted country. Lethal traps wait in the dark. But the deadliest threat comes from inside the Order — Underworld Apostles move among you, disguised and patient, waiting for their moment to betray. When the Blood Moon rises, Guardians and Traitors go to war. Do you make your last stand — or run headlong into the trap that was always waiting for you? Truth and destiny await you, amid sword and magic.

​​Seize the Infection Points​

•You are an Envoy of the Order of the Secret Fire, dispatched deep into the blighted lands to halt the spread of the infection

•But Underworld Apostles hide among you. They will do whatever it takes to spread the corruption in secret, or cut down an Envoy when no one is watching

• Each night, the Order can call a Judgment and try to root out the traitors. Some voices at that table are not there to find the truth.

​Blood Moon Evacuation​​

•When the corruption spread the land, the Blood Moon rises. Now there is only one objective: get the Lord and his people out.

•The Order must hold off waves of the undead and cut through everything in their path, guarding the convoy all the way to the evacuation point

• ​Reach it, and the Order wins​

•The Underworld Apostles will use traps, deception and ambush to stop the convoy from ever getting there

•Kill the Lord before the convoy arrives, and the Apostles win

•Loyalty can collapse in a heartbeat. Trust becomes the sharpest weapon you carry

•Whichever side you're on, more than one strategy leads to victory
​​The Blighted Lands​

•Across the blighted lands, you must hunt down and destroy the sources of infection

•The source of infection can be anywhere: a village well, a secret gathering, any place the corruption has taken root.

•While you investigate the infection, you'll have to fight off all kinds of enemies.

•Rotting undead, cold and cunning bandits, fanatics of the dark, and the powerful wraiths the infection itself spawns all stand between you and the source.

•Gather materials, defeat enemies, and solve mechanisms to earn resources and items. Use them to forge stronger weapons and learn stronger magic.

Sword and Magic

•Envoys drawn from cultures across the world, each wielding their own Combat Techniques or Magic

•Combat Techniques are innate, every character is born with their own.

•Magic must be found. Most of it is learned out in the world, hunted down on the map

•The Underworld Apostles have abilities of their own, letting them sabotage the Order from the shadows
