About This Game

Rusted Awakening is a short survival horror FPS about escaping a decaying underground facility before they put you back to sleep.

The sleeping are everywhere. Kept alive beneath the facility. Drained to sustain the few who remain awake.

Those still awake have been awake far too long.

You were never meant to wake up.

Fight through rusted laboratories, holding chambers, industrial tunnels, and the machinery buried beneath humanity’s last refuge. Weapons hit hard. Ammunition matters. The people hunting you will fire sedatives, rush you, and try to take you back alive.

Your health is your consciousness.

As it slips away, your breathing slows. Your vision fades. Every hit pulls you closer to closing your eyes for the last time.

Injections can pull you back from the edge. For a moment, you are faster. Stronger. More awake.

The same drugs have kept the others awake for far too long.

Every dose takes something with it.

There is only one way out.

Find the surface.

Whatever happens, stay awake.
