Hi, and welcome to Elderwood Online.

A classic MMORPG inspired by the old-school online RPGs many of us grew up with, where leveling up is the journey and not something to rush past. Progress is slow and earned, builds are deep and take real thought, and reaching the top opens up more than instances and PvP. The world grows wider over time instead of taller: new content brings new choices, not bigger numbers that bury the old ones.

A Personal Note from the Creator

Elderwood is the game I've always wanted to play, so I'm building it myself as a solo indie developer, in my spare time while balancing a full-time job and family life.

I'm a professional software engineer, and I've been working on Elderwood Online for over four years. While my resources are limited, every corner of this world is crafted with love, care, and attention to detail. I also work with talented human artists and musicians, funding all artwork and music out of my own pocket.

Is it for you?

If you love the long climb, planning a build and a world you share with other players for years, welcome home. If you're after fast leveling, auto-play or a quick sprint to endgame, Elderwood probably isn't for you, and that's okay.

Demo progress will be wiped when the game launches.
