About This Game

Stardust Demon is a retro adventure metroidvania about exploring alien planets, which a heavy emphasis on story and charming, strange, and cute characters. It features a mixture of challenges, from platforming to fighting to solving puzzles. Power up with an array of abilities and many hidden upgrades and secrets.

Experience the story featuring quirky demons and aliens. And many hidden rooms await in the depths of the planets to test your skill and knowledge of Algol's powers. It takes dedication, discovering surprising skills, and lots of hours to collect it all!

The game features 3D CGI FMV cutscenes, and lovingly-crafted pixel art graphics of hazardous environments and cozy towns. The soundtrack features an eclectic mixture of styles together from retro-FM-synthesis to metal to electronica, featuring over 50 tracks!

Algol - A sleepy demon who lives quietly on the demon-planet Klonix... that is until a spaceship crashes down and upends their community... and possibly the universe!

Scringles - An odd creature that Algol found trapped in a spaceship. What they lack in stature, they make up for in feistiness and attitude. Scringles is always on your side!

The Anuracanth - The omnipotent statue that overlooks Algol's planet, and is always hungry!

Wexia - A heavily forested planet with dangerous flora and fauna. It is the home-planet of the worm-like and quirky Wexoids.

Klonix - An ethereal planet with ghostly devices. It is home to Algol and The Anuracanth, along with some other friendly demons.

Purrafiny - This aquatic planet has a robust ecosystem of moist creatures. Beware the outpost of nefarious poachers and animal-collectors who came here.
