Why Early Access?

“We want to get the game in front of players as early as possible and complete development with as much feedback as we can. With players very much a part of that process.

In the past, we tried to figure out what players would enjoy, with varied success, we've come to realize that nobody knows better than the players. So why not make them an important part of the development process.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim to have the game in full release after 6 months early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More locations are planned, features may be added, new enemy types, weapons, etc. In addition, we might not always get it right, so there is always potential for unpopular features to be removed.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is in a complete playable state, from start to finish with a major questline to complete plus dozens of side locations and objectives. Beyond Hanwell is still being polished, so there may be annoyances or minor bugs but we plan to squash them soon enough.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase upon final release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want feedback on our game as it is, but we would also love to hear from enthusiastic players that have great ideas for features, interesting side locations or whatever they think the game will benefit from.”

About This Game

Beyond Hanwell

Step back into Hanwell and discover the world beyond it. Set in the deeper parts of London, explore Westminster and uncover the truth about the enigmatic stranger known as The Director.


  • Explore a rich, atmospheric take on Westminster and it's various Locations. Filled with lore and secrets to discover.
  • All new dual control melee combat system, land each hit and combo with satisfying intensity.
  • Scavenge scarce but available weapons and ammo with new shooting mechanics.
  • Use the environment in creative ways to take out the Anomolies. Set them on fire, electrocute them, crush them and more in frantic efforts to survive.
  • Follow the story in your own way, non linear open gameplay makes for a unique experience.
  • Immersive. All player feedback is displayed in game, with no HUD whatsoever to keep the player immersed and the tension high.


Explore a dynamic environment. Discover locations in Westminster and discover new ways to finish each location with their secrets.


We're trying to create an effortless control scheme, navigate the environment naturally with minimal tutorial.


Beyond Hanwell is dense, detailed and atmospheric, explore, search, scavenge and survive.


Interact with the world in various ways, use the environment to take out enemies or open up new paths to discover.
