Why Early Access?

“Dreadweave is a playable, stable experience with a complete core loop, but we believe the best games are shaped together with the community. Early Access lets us keep building with real player feedback: balancing the heartbeat mechanic, expanding the map, adding quests and story content. We'd rather ship something real and improve it with you than polish it in silence for another year.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for approximately 12 months. That said, we'll move to full release when the game feels complete, not on a fixed deadline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core gameplay loop, the first act of the story, the main map, and key mechanics - heartbeat, the other side, base building, and crafting. For the full release, we plan to add the complete story across all four acts, additional map zones, more monsters and mini-bosses, expanded quest system, and deeper progression. We also plan to improve visuals, performance, and audio throughout.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is stable and fully playable. The core loop works: explore, loot, complete quests, survive the cold, manage your heartbeat, extract. Some content is still rough around the edges - animations, balancing, and story quests are actively being worked on. We update regularly based on community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price when the game leaves Early Access, as the full version will contain significantly more content. Buying during Early Access means getting the best price and supporting development directly.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is at the center of how we develop Dreadweave. We actively read every bug report and suggestion on Steam Forums and in our Discord server — and we act on it. Every update includes direct responses to player feedback: balance changes, new features, bug fixes.

About This Game

You find yourself trapped in a sealed-off town deep in the Far North. A secret experiment has gone catastrophically wrong, shattering reality into two realms: our world and the Other Side.

Outside your underground base, enemies wait around every corner. Explore the city, collect resources, craft gear - but remember: panic is more dangerous than bullets. A creature hunts you by tracking your heartbeat. The higher your pulse, the closer IT gets.

Begin your journey as a lone operative: upgrade your equipment, fortify your shelter, master both worlds, and fight for survival - until you unravel the city’s darkest secret.

Big City

A vast, snow-covered Soviet-era city with changing weather, day and night cycles, cunning enemies, ever-changing - and no two raids are ever alike. Every trip into the city is a unique experience. Get out in time… or lose everything.

Gather and Survive

Explore the massive city to scavenge for loot - ammo, medicine, gear, resources, and rare items. Bring it all back to the bunker and use it wisely to upgrade your equipment and shelter.

The Other Side

Battles aren't just in the real world - you can enter The Other Side and face a terrifying enemy face to face. Time here is limited by your air supply, but only here can you find the most valuable resources.
