Why Early Access?

“I believe that involving the community from the beginning of development is essential to creating a game that both I and the players love. I'm a solo developer and I don't have any type of funding for this project, so early access ends up being a way to maintain development while generating a collaborative experience of ideas. I want Drill Hero Legend to be a polished experience and also very expandable. I plan to continue adding new items, stages, and features to the game for a long time to come.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“For a period of 12 months. However, this estimate may be adjusted as I receive feedback from players and as development progresses. The proposal is to launch monthly content packs throughout early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Currently the entire game base has already been defined. The full version will feature four more worlds to explore, more challenge content and other game modes. We plan a wider range of improvements and other types of customization for the character, further diversifying the gameplay.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The initial Early Access launch will include the first world complete with various upgrades and items to collect.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game's base price will increase at the end of Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will collect community feedback, mainly through the Steam community and Discord. Please come visit the Discord server! The purpose is to actively maintain a development diary, so you can stay up to date with development plans. You can also suggest additions and changes to the game. I can't promise to implement your suggestions, but I promise to read and consider them all!”

Take on the role of Drilly, a dedicated robot who finds himself helping the forces against a terrible catastrophe that has occurred on the worker planets of Ciberion. Enter fast tunnels, be launched to various places and pierce everything around you! Jump, dodge and shoot your hand cannon with a variety of unique abilities in this unique and fun platformer.


History:

In the heart of the Cybersphere Ciberion, lives the advanced "Cybernetic Mother", supervisor of all worker planets. In this world inhabited exclusively by friendly dedicated robots, each one plays a specific role, from building structures to collecting valuable resources.

The routine changes drastically when the Cybernetic Mother presents flaws in her algorithms. Planets, once filled with order and efficiency, now face chaos.
