Why Early Access?

“Early Access gives us an oppourtunity to build upon the trivia content for the game, and to further work on the editor tools and core gameplay elements, so we can better understand and refine the key things that customers want from a customisable trivia game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our expectation and aim is that we will leave Early Access by Q4 2024. We want to be confident that the included trivia packs are generous, that the provided tools for creating packs are refined and proven, and the core gameplay and online features are solid. We also have a wishlist of things we would like to add before confirming it as a finished release. Several months feels like a good cushion to grow these features and evaluate feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim to include a bigger range of default questions alongside an established Workshop, and to have more customisation and player interactions options. In particular, customisation and emote options for the robots.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently provides the base multiplayer trivia functionality, hundreds of included questions, and expansion options with a question editor and Steam Workshop support. Further planned additions mostly concern variety.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don't intend to change the price upon release.”

About This Game

Robot Trivia Funtime is a trivia quiz game designed for PC multiplayer, with a built-in question pack editor and Workshop support. Jump straight into the quiz with online lobbies of up to 6 other players on Steam! Perfect as casual game with friends, random other players, or as a chill solo experience.


Robot Trivia Funtime comes with several hundred questions by default, with free expansions planned. It also includes a question editor as standard and the ability to enable and disable question packs for custom games. With Steam Workshop support, you can create your own question packs or download packs made by other players.

Robot Trivia Funtime is designed for people who want to play trivia with their friends without any complicated setup. It uses Steam Matchmaking for a classic multiplayer experience. No mobile phones, DLC, or additional accounts required.

Become A Quiz Master



The all-in-one Editor menu lets you design your own quizzes. You can select what question packs to load, tailored to your interests. The built-in question editor lets you create your own question packs, with an additional tab-delimited data importer for advance users. You can then upload your creations to the Steam Workshop, or keep them to yourself for your own quizzes.

Trivia With Variety


Random balancing orders your question packs to minimise repetition. Each quiz selects 20 questions by default, with scores announced at the end of the game. To get you started, Robot Trivia Funtime comes with several hundred questions from categories including Film & TV, Games, Music, Politics & History, Sports, Technology, and Miscellaneous. Unlike some other trivia games, each question has 6 potential answers to keep it challenging.

Play With Matchmaking or Bots


No complicated configuration is required! Just launch the game and join public lobbies, or start your own. Steam Matchmaking makes playing together a breeze. What's more, when adding custom question packs, only the host needs to have them installed, keeping it easy for players who just want to join in. In addition, you can play single player games, or play with NPC bots. There are five varieties of bots to play against, each one with a different play style.
