Musashi, a small Shiba, trusts you and follows you anywhere. Pet him, and his tail wags with joy. When danger comes, he leaps to your aid. — But Musashi's soul has already been taken, and the time you have together is running out. A Japanese otherworld where the gods have perished. To save him, the boy plunged in. Because there is someone to protect, a person can grow stronger. In this game, every ounce of "strength" exists for this one little soul. Train Musashi, feed him, dress him in ninja or samurai garb. The more time you spend together, the sharper your teamwork — and the stronger you fight.

Not to defeat them — to return them to the underworld.

The yokai that block your path are no mere enemies. Each is a being from Japanese folklore, carrying its own lingering regret. Why did it become a yokai? What can it not let go of? Wield the ōnusa, a sacred Shinto purification wand, touch its heart and lay its soul to rest. And when it returns to the underworld — the once-terrifying form reveals a sorrowful truth. To reclaim Musashi's small, stolen soul, the boy walks toward the yokai.

Weighty, exhilarating action, unbound by any stamina meter. Attack, dodge, guard, parry and leap — chain them all freely, with your own hands. A purification-based combat where, with the right timing, every attack can be turned aside. Carve through without taking a hit, or slip past with the smallest movement — it's all down to your skill. Read, deflect, build your flow. The deeper your mastery, the more dazzling the battle becomes.
