Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are choosing Early Access to give our community an opportunity to help shape the final environments and features. We are gathering this feedback via multiple forums on our Discord. ASMBL is in a playable state, and we think this is a great chance for players to add their input and share ideas as we finalize the official 1.0 version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We already have some indication from our community of what features we would like to add. We expect Early Access will take about 1 year in total to collect, decide on, and implement the new features from our community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We intend to make the following improvements:
* Larger play environments and domain expansion: We plan to increase the size of the main play environment, create other playable maps, and add new domains like outer space.
* Expanded multiplayer modes: We have already demonstrated the ability to run races, dogfights, and obstacle courses in ASMBL single player. We plan to add some or all of these game modes to multiplayer as well.
* Improved multiplayer experience: We will make ASMBL more efficient to support greater interaction between player builds.
* Improved tutorials and learning systems: We plan on making more interactive tutorials that help the player learn how to program.
* Deeper logic and programming system: We plan on adding logic gates, animators, input recording/playback, and other backend systems that will enable for more complex programming behavior.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version has a small play environment where players can build, simulate, and play with others via multiplayer. Single player minigames showcase our capabilities in running races, dogfights, and obstacle courses. There are no file limits and players can create as many avatars as they like.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Our community is an integral part of our Early Access development. We have a "Game Suggestions Forum" where anyone can contribute their ideas. We also have a Beta Tester program that rewards users for testing beta versions prior to official updates.”

About This Game

Build. Program. Pilot. Compete.

ASMBL is a multiplayer VR sandbox where you can build anything from simple machines to massive, fully functional vehicles that you climb inside and drive around.

Construct homes, machines, vehicles, weapons, and bizarre contraptions using hundreds of interactive parts. Snap components together with your hands, create joints, and bring your creations to life through programmable devices.

Build Without Limits.

From minifigs to monuments, ASMBL gives you the tools to create a world of your own. Build practical machines that solve problems, elegant engineering marvels, or completely unnecessary contraptions that probably should never have been built.

With 300+ part types, 40+ materials, and an ever-growing collection of mechanical, electronic, and structural components, there is no single right way to build.

You can create:

  • Land vehicles, aircraft, and spacecraft

  • Minifigs, monuments, and any scale between

  • Machines powered by motors, pistons, servos, gyroscopes, rockets, propellers, wings, and sensors

  • Automated devices that respond to controllers and your body pose

  • Weapons and combat machines

  • Completely ridiculous inventions

Build. Program. Pilot.

ASMBL isn't just about creating machines; it's about stepping inside them.

Build a vehicle and drive it. Build an aircraft and fly it. Build a spacecraft and launch it. Use steering wheels, game controllers, HOTAS joysticks, tank controls, or even your own body to operate your creations.

Every machine exists in a fully simulated physics playground, allowing you to test, refine, break, rebuild, and push your designs to their limits.

Challenge Your Friends.

Join your friends online and put your creations to the test. Race custom vehicles, battle with player-built machines, compete in challenges, or simply experiment together in shared environments.

Test your designs in contests of speed, agility, durability, and destruction. Share your creations with other players and discover what they have built.

Create Your Own Avatar.

Why stop at machines?

Build your own VR avatar and express yourself however you want. Create something recognizable, ridiculous, or completely unique—and bring it with you into the world of ASMBL.

A World Built by Players.

ASMBL is a sandbox where the tools and possibilities are at your fingertips.

Build something useful. Build something beautiful. Build something that flies. Build something that shouldn't fly. And share it all with your friends.

We Want To Know: What Will You Create?

In ASMBL, there is no blueprint telling you what to make and no single correct way to play.

So, in a world where you can build anything, what will you create?

Current Development Status

ASMBL is coming to Early Access. Not all planned features are implemented, and existing systems are still being refined. Early Access is focused on gathering player feedback and making each subsystem robust as development continues.
