“I am currently targeting a development period of 1 year following the early access release. However, this period may change based on the scope of the game and additional functions that were not previously planned.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version includes a larger map, more interaction options with the world, more complex production chains and more buildings and cosmetic content.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The player is currently offered a playable strategy game. This includes the construction of residential buildings and the fulfilment of their inhabitants needs.
To do this, production buildings must be constructed and the availability of goods and production processes managed.
The constructed village can also be personalised with the help of cosmetic objects and paths.
The game world is currently limited to a single island. This changes at regular intervals in conjunction with the included tides system.”

“I reserve myself the right to increase the price as the amount of content increases and the state of development progresses.”

About This Game

Have you always wanted to live by the sea? In Frisia - Tales & Tides you settle on lonely islands in the rough climes of the North Sea.

After a severe storm surge, it is your task to repopulate the islands of the Frisian North Sea coast, rescue missing people and uncover the secrets of the sea. Set sail with your ship, build settlements, set up trade routes and help your islands to prosperity!

Friesland is best known for its picturesque villages, sheep, windmills and Frisian houses. Build a flourishing settlement, create production chains and supply your inhabitants with all the goods they need for a good life by the sea!

Embellish your settlement with decorative objects and customise the colours of your buildings!

Tides play a major role in Frisia. They wash useful resources onto the beach of your island, which you can use to construct new buildings.

Production sites are dependent on the tides, some only work at low tide and some only at high tide. Create a balance between them and ensure a constant supply for your production chains.

Shipping is also influenced by the tides. Your ship can run aground, so soften the shoals, install fairway markers and discover safe shipping routes to establish trade connections between your islands.

Improve your fleet with customised upgrades for your ships. Unlock new improvements such as additional sails, more cargo space or improved salvage equipment.

Unlock Friesland's secrets by setting out on expeditions with your ship and discovering ancient ruins, wrecked ships and other secrets. Return home with new sailor's yarns until the distance draws you and your crew out to sea again.
