What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“NeoRun is a movement-focused game where speed, precision, and flow are everything. In fast-paced parkour games like this, feel, feedback, and responsiveness are critical.

We’re launching in Early Access to fine-tune the core movement system — including level design, physics, camera responsiveness, and pacing — with real feedback from the community.

During this period, we’ll also develop Adaptive Pulse, our dynamic music system that reacts to your movement in real time. With the community's input, we plan to expand and refine this system to enhance immersion and rhythm in every run.

By observing how players move through levels and interact with mechanics, we aim to deliver tighter design, faster responsiveness, and a more satisfying parkour experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“NeoRun is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This period will allow us to refine gameplay systems, introduce new content, and iterate quickly based on community feedback.

Players can expect regular updates that improve parkour mechanics, expand level content, enhance visuals and audio, and polish the overall flow of the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of NeoRun aims to deliver a richer and more complete parkour experience. While the current version includes the full movement system and polished core gameplay, we plan to expand with features such as:

New levels with unique layouts and visual themes

Difficulty modes and gameplay modifiers

Time-based challenges and leaderboards

Continued development of the Adaptive Pulse music system

Seamless music transitions based on rhythm and player movement

Smoother integration between gameplay and UI/UX

The game will grow organically with community involvement. We’re not committing to any specific feature list, but we’re actively exploring additions that increase replayability, depth, and immersion — shaped by player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of NeoRun is fully playable and stable, featuring the complete movement system and core gameplay loop.

Available features include:

Integrated parkour mechanics: running, sliding, jumping, wallrunning, climbing, grappling

Smooth first-person camera with visual feedback (chromatic aberration, post-processing)

Score-based HUD showing time, speed, height, and death count

Death/respawn transitions and checkpoint logic

Dynamic visuals and lighting per level

Grappling hook cooldown and UI feedback

Basic menus and map selection system

Steam Audio support

While the game is in a complete and enjoyable state, we are continuing to iterate and improve based on feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. We plan to keep NeoRun’s price the same during Early Access and after full release.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is at the heart of NeoRun’s development. Our goal is to create a parkour experience that evolves hand-in-hand with its players.

We will involve players through:

Steam Community forums for direct feedback

Feedback posts and changelogs after each major update

Occasional surveys and polls

Reviewing gameplay clips and speedruns

Considering standout suggestions for movement and level design improvements

We’re listening — and we’ll be making adjustments based on how real players play.”

About This Game

NeoRun is a fast-paced first-person parkour game that tests your reflexes and movement mastery. Run, jump, wallrun, climb, and swing through stylish environments without losing momentum. Every death is a lesson. Every run is a chance for greatness — and now, every motion has a pulse.

Adaptive Pulse is the dynamic 3D music system of NeoRun — the game adapts its soundtrack in real time based on how you move. Start slow, pick up the pace, and feel the rhythm pulse with your momentum. Whether you're wallrunning, grappling, or sprinting through danger, the audio evolves alongside you. With full Steam Audio integration, every sound lives in true 3D space, surrounding you as you run.

🎮 Key Features:

  • Fluid Movement System: Slide, crouch, jump, wallrun, climb, and grapple — all designed to keep your momentum alive.

  • Adaptive Pulse: delivers immersive real-time music transitions based on how you move. Walk, run, or sprint — each state smoothly blends into its own musical layer, preserving position, rhythm, and ambience. It uses Steam Audio’s spatial engine for true 3D directionality and environmental effects

  • Stylized Visuals: Each map features a unique color palette, lighting setup, and post-processing effects for immersive atmosphere.

  • Cinematic Feedback: Visual effects like chromatic aberration, exposure shifts, and saturation pulses enhance your sense of speed.

  • Responsive Audio Design: Hear your every move with custom audio feedback — footsteps, jumps, grapples, slides, and more.

  • Time-Based Challenge: Finish as fast as possible. Track your timer, deaths, and velocity in real time.

  • Dynamic HUD: See your speed, altitude, and time clearly with an in-world heads-up display.
