Tinkerpatch is a bright first-person voxel workshop. Start on one small patch of land floating in the mist: chop, dig, and craft, then build a line of machines that mines, smelts, and stores while you plan the next patch. Nothing runs out, and nothing needs you standing there.

About This Game

Tinkerpatch starts with one small patch of land floating in the mist. Chop, dig and craft until the first machines are up, then link them into a line that mines, smelts and stores on its own. Buy the next patch. Then the next.

One patch, then the next

You own a single 16×16 patch. Quests pay coins, coins buy the land next door, and every patch brings a new kind of industry: a copper outcrop, a buried workshop, a lakeside, an old foundry. More than 30 kinds of land wait past the mist.

A line that runs itself

Belts, feeders, pumps, splitters, steam engines and logic gates: more than 150 machines, from a wooden quarry to a storage network that fills your requests. Every machine shows why it stopped, and none of them ever loses an item.

Five ways to spend an evening

  • Grow: crops, orchards, bees and animals you can pet, and a kitchen that turns them into meals.
  • Build: cut any material into shapes, fire bricks and glass, paint, and draft blueprints.
  • Automate: fluids, alloys, wind and steam, wired logic, and a warehouse that fills orders.
  • Venture: ruins guarded by clockwork sentinels, if you want them. Peaceful is one setting away.
  • Tinker: gear, an upgrade tree, augments, and automatons that carry, dig, sow and herd.
Everything you make in one lane is useful to the other four.

The book and the Great Engine

A quest book of more than 300 quests leads you across four arcs, each ending in a project for the Great Engine that holds the islands together. Light its four dials and the mist recedes. Play continues.

Calm, on your terms

Nothing runs out: trees regrow, stone renews, and ore never empties. Fainting just sends you home with everything you carried. World options set the threat, the nights, the weather and how much work costs, and a good night's sleep hurries the workshop along.

Made to be modded

Every block, item, recipe and machine in Tinkerpatch is data. Content packs are plain JSON files you can write yourself and drop into the game.
