Why Early Access?

“High Noon Husk is a multiplayer game and there's so much I want to add to it, but I'm limited by small playtests on the information I can get. Balancing weapons, kill streaks or how a map flows is something only a real lobby can tell me.

I'd much rather ship the game now, as it is genuinely fun and fine tune it with valuable feedback from the community that plays it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan for the game to be in Early Access for approximately 12 months. This estimate may change based on player feedback and development progress, and we will keep the community updated along the way.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The goal is more of everything, this includes maps, weapons, killstreaks and game modes. I plan on creating a new Husk game mode as well. I'm also going to add deeper player statistics and achievements. With the future content I'm hoping it can be shaped by the feedback of the early access. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable and feature complete for an end to end match.
Currently in the game
- 5 game modes: Deathmatch, Domination, Duel, Hardpoint and Infection
- 3 maps
- 6 weapons: revolver, sniper, shotgun, crossbow, knife and a club
- 6 killstreaks: ridable falling piano, a mounted gatling gun, a flaming tumble weed, and a controllable minecart full of tnt, a bull rush stampede and a safe that can grant you any above.
- AI bots with varying set difficulty, so you can fill a lobby at anytime or play on your own
- Steam lobbies with invites, a lobby browser and post match scorecards

Games are all hosted peer to peer through Steam.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features. Anyone who buys the game in Early Access will get everything that comes after.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'll be reading everything on discord and steam discussions. The game will build off the community from bug reports, balancing, and new additions such as maps, weapons or kill streaks. I want to mold the game around that feedback.”
