Explore The Multiverse

Spend 50+ hours exploring over 100 areas, from the surreal horror of The Backworld to vibrant fantasy and sci-fi worlds, including your hometown. The world is nonlinear, and new traversal abilities unlock new places to find.

Strategy Meets Survival

Outthink enemies in turn-based battles and evade real-time hazards. Bosses blend the two together. Take on over 400 unique enemy types.

Lose Your Sanity

Horrors take a toll on your party’s minds, and every character reacts differently, including Eli going berserk and slipping out of your control. As your party’s sanity breaks, the world and its monsters warp around you, and you’ll hallucinate things like fake NPCs and incorrect UI elements.

Choose Your Approach

Survival goes beyond combat. Sneak past threats, use environmental hazards, or just talk your way through! You can also set traps or shoot damage items in the overworld to weaken enemies before a fight starts.

Recruit Companions & Pets

Meet a large group of companions with unique personalities. Each has a special battle resource, such as mana for a wizard or energy for a robot. Some gain it by attacking, others by taking damage or applying status effects, etc. You can also recruit extra pets!

Loot & More Loot

Find over 600 bizarre items and pieces of equipment. All equipment grants unique passives and active abilities for high build diversity. For example, a flesh sword grants health regen, a shadow hoodie lets you enter stealth, and a mirror shield reflects attacks back at enemies.

A Cosmic Horror Story

A cosmic war ripples through dimensions and reaches your hometown. With reality crumbling, you and your friends must descend into The Backworld to stop the chaos before it consumes everything.

Customize Your Difficulty

Set RPG, survival horror, and navigation difficulty separately. Higher RPG settings give enemies new abilities, passives, and stronger stats. Higher horror settings make sanity more punishing and can add hunger, perma-death, and a single save slot. Navigation difficulty controls how useful your map and travel abilities are. You can opt out of any of these extremes, or turn everything down for chill horror exploration with a creepy story.
