The Shroom Siege demo has officially launched on Xbox as part of the Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest 2025, and we’re thrilled to announce that it now features full cross-play support with the Steam demo!

That means whether you’re playing on Xbox or PC (Steam), you can now team up with your friends or battle against rivals across platforms in epic 4v4 matches.

Taking cues from the arcade hit, Killer Queen, Shroom Siege introduces its unique gameplay mechanics. It's a game that's easy to pick up, yet offers depth and complexity for those who crave a strategic challenge.

Claim victory in one of three ways:

• Shrine Victory: Deliver spores to all shrines across the map and maintain control of every shrine to succeed!

• Shogun Victory: Possess a Shogun warrior and defeat the opponent’s Shogun thrice!

• Poop…Victory?: Push a giant dung ball from one side of the map to the other to claim this satisfying victory!

An insect minion must be possessed and controlled by a shroom at all times, adding an additional layer of complexity to each battle.
