Why Early Access?

“In order to harness the invaluable insights and creative ideas from the esteemed gaming community, Imprecision is embarking upon an exciting early access phase. This deliberate approach aims to foster an immersive and collaborative environment, allowing players to actively participate in shaping the game's evolution. I am a solo developer and teach programming & game development full-time, so I do not have all the time to playtest and thought this would be a great way to get feedback. My ultimate goal is to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience upon launch, enriched by the collective wisdom of passionate gamers like yourself.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Imprecision will be in Early Access until it is fully ready and all planned features are implemented. I am thinking this will be around Summer 2024, since school is starting back up.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan for Imprecision to include a full story with cutscenes that will immerse the player into the game, a final boss battle with King Bjørn the Bloodthirsty, and possible features/easter eggs recommended by Early Access players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Imprecision currently offers all 50 Precision Levels, along with the first two levels of the story. The story is missing cutscenes, dialogue, and is still a work in progress. Player Stats are available, leaderboards, and achievements are working.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During Early Access Imprecision pricing will be reduced by 50%. After Early Access, the pricing will be full price.”
