This world once belonged to us, at least that’s what we believed. Until that day, everything changed...

Those meteorite craters were like gates to hell, from which swarmed the 【Alien Bugs】 that destroyed everything, leaving only ruins behind.

And then there was the 【Bug Virus】 spreading through the air—once infected, no matter how strong one’s willpower, they would turn into mindless 【Zombie Thugs】.

This is what I still remember after being rescued by the 【Survivors’ Alliance】. As for what I did before the disaster or where I lived, I have no memory at all.

But that doesn’t matter anymore. All I know is that I didn’t become one of the walking dead—instead, I was modified and trained into a 【Bug Slayer】, specialized in exterminating alien insects and zombies.

Although those terrifying monsters still roam everywhere, the Alliance has a new project, codenamed 【Rebirth】.

And I will contribute my last ounce of strength, returning to those occupied city ruins...
