By participating in Early Access as a player, your direct feedback and your game logs help us improve everything from UX accessibility and feel to featured game modes to AI behavior by letting us know what to focus on. It's incredibly helpful for us to learn from real players discovering the game, letting us know what comes naturally and where you might struggle; your guidance helps us better target our efforts as we work towards release.”

“A couple of months. We're expecting to be ready for release in early Fall.”

“We're working towards providing additional content, improved visuals and expanded game modes, cross-platform play, and additional systems (based on player feedback and behavior) to support improved retention and engagement.”

Embark upon a breathtaking journey through the Pacific Northwest. Explore new habitats and discover the animals who live there as you compete to cultivate the most perfect ecosystem!


Cascadia offers many ways to play and explore the game's strategy, including:
  • Solo & Online Play - Head out into the world to find your opponents, or go it alone!
  • Family Mode - Hone your skills in Family Mode with simpler scoring objectives!
  • Pass and Play - Share your field research with local pass-and-play!
  • 15 Solo Scenarios - Explore new approaches in unique scenarios!

Cascadia's easy-to-learn gameplay has won awards around the world. Here's how to play:

On your turn:

1.) Select a Habitat tile and Wildlife token.
  • Choose from one of the four combinations of tiles and tokens.
2.) Place the tile and token into your Environment.
  • Expand your Environment by placing your chosen Habitat tile adjacent to any other Habitat tile.
  • Populate your Environment by placing your Wildlife token on any Habitat tile that can support that species of wildlife.
  • Collect a Nature token if you successfully populate a Keystone tile
Nature tokens can be used to increase your options when selecting Habitat tiles and Wildlife tokens on subsequent turns.

Scoring:

Players score points based on how harmonious their Environment is!
1.) Habitats - You score 1 point for each tile in your largest contiguous corridor of each habitat type. You also score bonuses for each type, if you have the largest.
2.) Wildlife - You score points for wildlife based on the conditions of the chosen Wildlife Scoring Cards used in that particular game.
3.) Nature Tokens - You score points for any unspent Nature Tokens earned from populating Keystone Tiles.
