Bodycam is the first tactical multiplayer FPS with a true body-camera view in Unreal Engine 5. Close-quarters combats feel raw and loud. Every angle, callout, and bullet matters. Play Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Body Bomb on photoreal maps where teamplay, tactics, and clutch skill are key.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are Luca and Leo, two French developers who started creating games many years ago. We released Bodycam at 17 and 20 years old. What began as a small personal project quickly evolved. We wanted to push the limits of Unreal Engine, and we are proud to have been among the first developers to showcase its photorealistic capabilities.

Bodycam has since grown into an ultra-realistic multiplayer FPS built with the most advanced technologies. What players experience today is already a strong foundation, but the game will continue to evolve significantly over time.

We chose Early Access for several reasons:

  • Community Support: Your involvement is essential. By joining Early Access, you can directly influence the evolution of Bodycam and help improve the experience. Your feedback guides our work and helps make the game more immersive and exciting.

Community suggestions are always taken into account. This approach helped us gather more than 250,000 players on Discord and across our social platforms. Our roadmap evolves constantly with community requests added directly into it.

  • Continuous Improvement: Our goal is to build the ultimate ultra-realistic tactical FPS. Your feedback helps us fix issues, polish gameplay, add new modes, expand the arsenal, create new maps, and continuously refine the experience.

  • Engagement and Collaboration: We are very close to our community. Daily discussions, reports, and suggestions help keep the game aligned with player expectations. Bodycam grows with its community.

What started with just two people has now grown into a team of more than 100 passionate contributors working on the project and its ambitions. We will always be grateful for the trust and support you give us.

Join us in Early Access and help shape the future of Bodycam!

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate that Bodycam will remain in Early Access for several years. The duration depends on community feedback and the improvements we plan to introduce. Our goal is to let the game grow step by step, with regular updates during Early Access and even after the official release.

The final version will be significantly more complete, with many additional features, content expansions, and refinements that will enhance the overall experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Bodycam is already in an advanced state, with high-end graphics and solid, intuitive gameplay. However, we still have a lot of work ahead of us to bring the game to its full potential.
Our vision is for the final version to be richer, more polished, and more complete, while staying true to the ultra-realistic identity that defines Bodycam.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version of Bodycam is already well advanced. The core experience is fully playable, stable, and provides a strong foundation that will continue to grow over time.

  • Gameplay: An immersive, realistic (but not a simulation), and intense FPS focused on teamplay and tactical decision-making.
  • Graphics: Photorealistic visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5 and Megascans, using next-generation rendering technologies.
  • Game Modes: Around 5 to 10 modes available depending on the period, including Deathmatch (up to 10 players), Team Deathmatch (5v5), and the competitive Body Bomb mode (5v5). Additional modes will be added during Early Access.
  • Weapons: A selection of about ten weapons including shotguns, SMGs, assault rifles, flashbangs, and grenades, with more coming in future updates.
  • Maps: Multiple environments such as urbex buildings, shooting ranges, airsoft fields, forests, and seasonal maps. New Zombie maps are released during Halloween events.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

The price of Bodycam could change after early access. We want to offer a quality gaming experience at an affordable price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We involve the community at every stage of Bodycam’s development.

We release regular updates, patches, and improvements, and we carefully listen to all constructive feedback from players. Our goal is to build a game that truly meets the expectations of FPS fans, and Early Access is the best way to achieve this together.

All players are invited to share their suggestions, reports, and ideas through our community channels. We read everything, and community feedback directly shapes our roadmap and our priorities.

We regularly post devlogs, trailers, and update breakdowns on YouTube so players can follow the progress of the game. We are present on many platforms, but Discord and YouTube remain the most active places where we interact with our community.”
