Halve is a quiet, atmospheric journey about two spirits who have been torn apart, and the bond that still connects them.

A powerful goddess has been shattered, leaving behind two spirits: one born from the wind and the other from the earth. They wake up on opposite sides of a devastated landscape with no memory of what they once were or why they were torn apart. You will guide them across ruined wastelands, overgrown forests, and sacred temples in search of what they lost, and whether it can be recovered.

Your path begins in a devastated wasteland, a landscape of ash and ruin where nothing seems to remain. But as you advance, the world itself starts to change. Desolation gives way to dense forests full of life and colour, bringing back a sense of hope. Each environment carries its own atmosphere: moments of calm where you can take in what surrounds you, and others of intense tension where you need to push forward and fight against hostile forces. The further you go, the closer the spirits are to remembering that they were never meant to be apart.

At the heart of Halve is the act of guiding both spirits at once. You control the Deer and the Bird simultaneously, learning how to move them together, separate them, and use their connection to overcome environmental puzzles, dangerous passages, and moments of tension.

Some challenges ask you to coordinate both spirits across different parts of the level; others require timing, positioning, and the careful use of their shared abilities.

A fully orchestral soundtrack plays a central role in shaping the experience, moving from the heavy, oppressive weight of the wasteland to the epic grandeur and danger of the temples.

With its music, art direction, puzzle mechanics, and emotional storytelling working together, Halve becomes an experience that stays with you long after the journey ends.
