Why Early Access?

“I am one person working on this game completely by myself.

The game could take some time to complete with all the features I have planned, so I would like to let players enjoy the game, while I continue working on it, with the help of player support and feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“My current plan is to get out of early access before the end of 2024. Things can change so it is possible that it might take a little bit longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The plan for the full version is to be fairly similar to the early access version, but with more features, and more polish. A current list of planned future additions includes Clothing, Armor, More Weapons, Expanded Weather Systems, More and Better NPCs, Improvements to Farming, Achievements, Points of Interest, Maps, and possibly Mod Support.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Wild Omission is currently a vertical slice of the full game. It is a mostly complete experience, but it still has many more features planned. A current rundown of features would be Resource Gathering, Crafting, Base Building, Multiplayer, Weather (Featuring Thunderstorms, and Tornadoes), and more. There is still more yet to be introduced. Although I have heard from players that the game is one of the best optimized, it is very much possible that there could be performance issues. Save files may also break with updates, and items/features could be removed or changed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase as new content and features are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The primary community hub for Wild Omission is the http://discord.gg/U8yWcCz2gw. In the discord server you can get previews of updates before they are released. Chat with other players, and submit feedback. I am interested to hear from others, and am open to all feedback and suggestions.”

About This Game

Wild Omission is an open world multiplayer sandbox survival game with severe weather set in an infinite procedurally generated world. Your goal survive, craft tools, and build bases that hold up against the most extreme weather. You can go at it alone, or with friends.

Whether it's your friends, a wild animal, or a tornado, pretty much anything and everything can kill you if you aren't careful. You must start off with nothing, and pull together to overcome all odds.
