Why Early Access?

“Our team is very excited for you to see what Loftia has to offer during its Early Access! However, there is so much more that we are planning to add to Loftia. You can expect regular updates containing additional content and gameplay systems and features throughout the course of Early Access as we work towards 1.0 Release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our target is for Loftia to be in Early Access for approximately 1 year. This will give us time to continue expanding Loftia with new features, content and improvements with our community feedback. The exact date for our 1.0 Release will depend on community input as we continue to work on the game, and we will keep everyone informed of any updates!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our 1.0 Release will contain more of everything: there will be new islands and regions to explore, questlines to complete, NPCs to meet. There will also be many more features and gameplay systems, including the Study Cafe, Clubs, NPC Friendships, and so much more! We will also continue to improve the overall quality and experience of the game, including UX improvements, balance changes, and improvements to existing features.

Please note that even after our 1.0 Release, there will continue to be constant updates, as Loftia is a world that will be continuously evolving together with the community, for many years to come.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of Early Access will take you through the main storyline of Loftia, spanning 4 chapters over 3 major regions: Loftia City, the Hanging Gardens, and the Gridfall. The storyline is just one aspect of Loftia, however, as there will be plenty else to do, including: side quests, World Projects to complete, Adventures to go on, treasures to find, many outfits and decorations to unlock, and many other endgame systems that will keep Loftia feeling fresh and interesting.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may consider increasing the price as we get closer to our 1.0 Release based on the quality improvements, and amount of additional content and features added to the game through our Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Your voice as part of Loftia’s community has and always will be a key part of the game’s development. From the beginning, Loftia has been a world we created together with feedback from the community. Your thoughts and suggestions have made a big impact on our character designs, art style, gameplay systems, and many other aspects as well.

Our vision is for Loftia to be a world that continuously evolves together with the community, for many years to come, including after our 1.0 Release. Please do share your feedback and suggestions with us through our official Discord server, the Steam Community Hub, and social media!”

Loftia is a cozy multiplayer game about building a life in the sky. Set across floating islands, you’ll farm, craft, decorate, and explore alongside friends in a shared world that grows over time. Whether you’re hanging out after a long day or teaming up for a bigger adventure, Loftia is a place to slow down, connect, and create something meaningful together.

In the world of Loftia, you can:

Explore the world of Loftia, meet and befriend NPCs, tackle quests to help the community, and gather and craft with resources and tools to help you on your journey!

Master sustainable farming techniques like hydroponics, aquaponics, and trellis farming. Craft your own tools using renewable energy generated from the sun, wind and rain!

Create a character that feels fully like you, and design your home in the style you love. There's a super wide variety of different options and aesthetics for you to choose from!

Create your own floating island and link up with others to form neighborhoods. Decorate, farm, craft, and spend time together in shared spaces that feel lived-in and personal.

Rescue and adopt animals to join you on your journey, from capybaras and turtles to other unique species. Bring them along, dress them up, and let them keep you company as you explore the world.

Venture beyond the city to scavenge in abandoned factories, solve puzzles, and take on group quests across different biomes. Team up when you want, or explore at your own pace.

Work together on community projects that help the world grow. By contributing to shared builds, you’ll unlock new resources, uncover hidden stories, and open up new islands to explore.
