Miksi Early Access?

Jump King Quest is an immense project with a grand vision both technically and content-wise, especially compared to its predecessor.

With Early Access our aim is to gain valuable feedback and data on our multiplayer system, balancing and content that will help us continue to develop and fine-tune the game as we move towards the final release.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Due to the complexity of the game and the enormity of our vision we can only give a rough estimate of 1-2 years for the early access period. As we complete new features and content we will be able to update this estimate.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

For the full version we are planning to wrap up the game world with an ending section that concludes the story, including The Smoking Hot Babe at the Top. (1.0 Phantom Update, see our news post for more info about this)

We have additional weapon types (such as ranged weapons), and features (such as emotes) planned. The ending "Phantom" update will include new bosses, NPCs and quests as additions to both the already existing world/levels and the expansion of the game-world.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game in its current state is great even as a standalone experience with approx 20-30hrs of gameplay for an average first playthrough. However, it is currently lacking a proper ending segment - which we are planning to add with the 1.0 update dubbed "Phantom".

The two greater zones present at launch include multiple dungeons (enemy levels), unique enemies and bosses, which should provide players with ample challenge and exciting exploration.

The base online multiplayer mechanics are in place, supporting matchmaking with random players for PvE and PvP as you move through the game world.

Additionally, the leveling and upgrades-systems are included, which players can use together with a varied selection of weapons and armor to create unique builds and configurations.

We plan to increase the price as we add content during Early Access.

We want to ensure that both new and hardcore Jump King players are satisfied with this follow up! We will gather feedback through Discord, Steam and all other available channels to make informed decisions on what direction to take the gameplay and combat, including what additional modes, systems etc. to develop.
