About This Game

Searching for a legendary cure deep in a volcanic island, you become trapped in the remnants of an impossible civilization, a vast temple of enigmatic machinery. Decipher spatial puzzles, transform into a scarab to study how the contraptions work, and piece together a forgotten past.

You’ll Solve A Variety Of Spatial Puzzles That Are Tied To The Environment

Each puzzle you solve is crafted with an attention to detail, using real mechanical principles.  And as you escape each room, and delve deeper into the temple, you will encounter various environmental clues and elements to solve each puzzle.

No Magical Contraptions, Just Primitive Tech You Have To Manipulate

Each contraption you’ll face was designed long ago by primitive engineers.  You’ll have to grab objects, put missing pieces in the correct place, push buttons, move levers, connect gears, and set up chain reactions.  There’s no magic involved.  It’ll be just you manipulating physical pieces so you can escape to the next room.

Harness The Power of The Scarab Amulet

Experience a unique death mechanic where when you fail at a trap, you will transform into a scarab.  This allows you to study the mechanism at your own pace, and turn each setback into an opportunity to learn from your mistakes.  When you’re ready, you can resurrect yourself at altars scattered throughout the temple – and try again with new found knowledge.

Study Environmental Clues

The temple interior is full of engravings of an ancient language using ideograms and pictograms. They tell the story of the temple, and descriptions of the challenges and instructions.  So you’ll have to read the symbols, learn the language, and connect knowledge from different messages in the temple.  Within these ancient texts, you will find clues to help you solve each challenge.  And as you escape from each room, you’ll slowly uncover the mystery of this volcanic island.

About The Dev

Hey, my name is Alejo, here in Spain.  I made this game because I love to show how things work.  And in this case, how archetypical temple mechanisms and traps work.   And my goal is to make you feel proud and surprised when you can figure out how the mechanics work so you can keep exploring.

I enjoyed hand-crafting each puzzle, and tying it all to the story and environment.  And I hope you enjoy this game as well!
