Why Early Access?

“Cube Run 2 is the first game to which our team has such a serious approach to development. We have a large number of plans for this project and we clearly aim to implement them completely. But we believe that interaction with the community at the development stage will greatly help to choose the right direction of the game, so it was decided to bring the game to early access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The duration of the game's early access depends on a large number of factors, so it's hard to say exactly when the game will reach version 1.0. However, according to our best expectations, this will happen around May 1, 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our plans include adding a lot of content, for example:

First, we plan to add new variations of the generated rooms, including their immediate structure.
Secondly, we plan to add new variations of powerups that the player can pick up.
Thirdly, we plan to improve the artificial intelligence of enemies and especially bosses by adding different stages of the battle and their variations in general.

Of course, during this time we also want to look for and fix all bugs and errors so that players can play as comfortably and more interesting as possible. There is no doubt that we also plan to listen to the opinions and suggestions of the community in order to move forward in creating content in accordance with the wishes of the players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is a very important assistant for us in creating a product, and therefore we have great respect for the opinions and suggestions for the development of Cube Run 2. We plan to listen to the opinion of the players by adding a large amount of content and features that the community deems necessary. By communicating on the game's community page on Steam, we will collect opinions and suggestions so that the game gets the look that the players offer. For our part, we want to publish devlogs to share the development process and make reports on innovations proposed by the community.”
