Why Early Access?

“We have learned a lot from launching our previous games. As a small indie team we wanted to try and build something different that both our team and our players wanted to play. We feel we have achieved that, but it took longer than we thought. We realised we should go into Early Access, to get player feedback before launch.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We'll be aiming to be in Early Access for 4 to 6 months, this could be longer depending on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final build will have the full map unlocked, new spells, loot, mechanics and features will be added.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“A part of the open world is playable, some details and polishing is still missing. Only a few selected spells are currently available and some Multiplayer features are work in progress.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be increased over the course of the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We listen to all feedback! Either here on Steam, Facebook or the official Discord Channel. We're planning on staying very close to our community as we shape Spell Slinger.”

Spell Slinger: A Magical First-Person Open-World Adventure!

Enter Arkanix – a vast, living world of mystery, magic, and danger. In this first-person action adventure, you’ll master powerful spells, uncover secrets, and face perilous challenges across a handcrafted fantasy realm.

Master the Art of Magic and Survival!

In Singleplayer Extraction Missions, every journey begins at a random point on the map. Search for loot, solve puzzles, and banish enemies from the Grimshade Brotherhood. Reach the portal to claim your rewards – or lose everything if you fall before extraction.

Between missions, explore your Hub Temple, craft items, and unlock unique spells and artifacts to expand your powers.

Explore Together in 4-Player Coop

Team up with friends to freely explore the world, complete 30 handcrafted quests, and face the challenges of Arkanix together. Combine your spells, ride enchanted brooms, and uncover the secrets hidden in ancient ruins.

Challenge Others in PvP Battles

Put your spellcasting to the test in fast-paced PvP combat for up to 16 players. Prove your mastery of magic in thrilling duels and chaotic arena fights — where every spell counts.

Shape the Future of Arkanix

Your actions leave a mark on the realm. Discover hidden areas, unlock secret paths, and watch your magic reshape the world. Community choices and player discoveries can change Arkanix — sometimes forever.
