Why Early Access?

“When the game is ready to be played, it should be played. There's a lot of content to add and player feedback is a great way to improve the game while it's still in development. Early Access is a good way to offer players a fun experience while simultaneously giving developers a picture of what the community thinks about the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly one or two years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game aims to capture the concept of the backrooms in its entirety.
The full version will contain a lot more of the levels, entities and objects in the backrooms.
Full version is also planned to have multiplayer and VR-support alongside other features and extras requested by players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently has a singleplayer mode whith three fully procedurally generated levels of the backrooms, a sanity system, some entities to encounter and some customization options for your game(like disabling entities for example).
All of that makes for a very immersive and unique experience, even in the early state of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will become more expensive as time goes on, depending on the content added over that timespan.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback and active involvement in development descisions are major parts of improving the game. There'll be a discord server available to join at release for things like bug reports, feedback, suggestions, community discussions and more.”
