Why Early Access?

“Kasaburo's Secret Fishing Spot is a relaxing, slow-paced fishing and collection game. The core loop is already in place, but we want to expand the world step by step — adding more fish, interactions, and surprises along the way. Early Access lets us involve the community in shaping this cozy pixel fishing experience together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for about 6 months, with flexibility depending on feedback and development pace.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to include more unique fish species, secret creatures, an expanded fish basket system, achievements, a full fish encyclopedia, interactive events, and possibly new fishing areas and light storytelling.

”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the full core gameplay loop: automatic fishing, fish collection, selling for coins, and basic upgrades. It also features Kasaburo's stamina system, fish animations, and a simple but complete UI. The game is stable and already enjoyable in its current form, with more polish and content updates to come.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don't plan to change the price after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll be listening closely through Steam Discussions and our Discord server. Updates will be shared regularly, and we plan to involve players through polls, feedback threads, and early feature previews.

is a desktop idle pixel fishing game.You will meet the mysterious frog angler, Samurō, and spend quiet days by the lake catching all kinds of curious fish, selling them for coins, upgrading your gear, and building your very own secret fishing spot.

Samurō’s Secret Fishing Spot is a relaxing, heartwarming little game full of calm, comfort, and gentle presence.

A Variety of Rods and Baits, Each with Unique Effects

Fishing rods affect the weight of fish you can catch, how deep you can go, and may even trigger certain hidden events.

Bait is not only used to attract specific types of fish—some can also increase the value of fish and bring unexpected changes. How to combine them and what to fish for is up to the player.

Taste a Range of Japanese Sake— alcohol isn’t just for getting drunk

Some sake change the world around you once you finish them.

Some double your stamina.And others quietly boost your fishing efficiency.

Thinking too much won’t help. When worries start creeping in, stop overthinking— just drink!

Every cast of the line is an exploration into the secrets of the sea.

From the common little fish to the strange and rare ones, countless beings dwell beneath the waves. Some appear only under certain conditions, all waiting for players to discover them on their own.

Beyond fish, the sea occasionally offers up something extraordinary—lost treasures, or messages in bottles that carry hidden secrets. With each cast, players slowly piece together a more complete picture of the world.

Creators and brands from the real world appear as mysterious merchants deep in the forest.
They offer exclusive bait, rods, sake, and even limited-edition items and decorations.
Each merchant brings something different, and you never know who you’ll meet next.
