Why Early Access?

“Early Access gives our players the chance to contribute to development and also gives us the opportunity to discover different game ideas in a vibrant community. Voxellands is primarily a sandbox game with open world, so it's hard to tell when the game will end. We want to find out how you play this game and use it to give everyone a better experience. We decided to launch in Early Access to maintain our close relationship with the community as we continue to implement more and more features by tinkering with the mechanics.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate it will take around 6 to 12 months for all the features and content we want in the final game to be completed and make sure that everything will be perfect for the players. We want to stay flexible and will only be able to move to the full version when we feel the game is really ready. However, the game in its current state already offers tons of features and a long playing time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plant to improve the game for players, and focus on providing the most creative gameplay
possible. We plan to add :
- new features,
- new levels and voxels.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is now fully playable. And with early acces it's ready for players to have good time playing it. In te future with players support we want to add more features and find good direction for development of this game and what they want in the game to be more enjoyable.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Voxellands is still in active development so naturally it is a bit cheaper. The Early Access edition is specifically for people who want to join us at the beginning of this journey. The full version will come at a higher price as the scope and complexity of the game continues to grow.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Together with our players, we want to built a fantastic community on Discord where we can share our thoughts and ideas. Our players can report bugs to us there, and we will fix them and inform you about changes that are taking place in the games on a regular basis. We believe that also this time we will be able to count on our players and once again co-create another product with
them. You can easily become one of them - we can't wait for your feedback!”

About This Game

OVERVIEW

Voxellands is a block-building sandbox game, which aims to take the creative aspect to a new level — features that are often only hinted at in other voxel productions by the modding community, here become the vanilla experience! What is more, they are accompanied by mechanics known for kingdom management simulators, roguelikes, and even ecological games. Modding and even regular gameplay is enhanced by AR, XR, and VR technologies.


Your epic journey starts in the wilderness and is focused on survival, but as you gather more resources and expand your territory, the game gradually adds a layer of kingdom management mixed with unlimited creative expression. Create your own blocky world by designing unique items, mobs, voxel textures, and vehicles. Scan real-life places with an AR companion app. Invite citizens into your settlement, and have a meaningful impact on your environment by designing new species of evolving animals and plants. Then put on VR goggles for extra immersion.

Invite your friends to visit your "Voxelland" online. Not only will they be able to buy schematics from your shops, or interact with your citizens, but also rate your civilization, so that it receives praise online and becomes a top community world.

    Scan real-life places with an AR companion app. Map real objects to be used in-game.

    Create a home for yourself on an uninhabited island. Expand its territory. Place blocks by hand or with building schematics.
    All constructions are completely destructible and blocks react to physics.
