Someone must have been telling lies, you’re an ordinary nobody who has never done anything noteworthy, and yet you’ve suddenly been arrested for a crime?! It’s time to grab your passport, your half-eaten banana and start planning your escape.

YOU ARE BEING WATCHED

The Colossal Policeman is there, watching you. HIS job is to stop you from escaping the town. Yours… is to get out, any way you can think of. Get creative but stay quiet. Every move you make, every step you take, HE’ll be watching you.

CHOOSE YOUR PATH TO FREEDOM

Explore the town and scout the best path to freedom. There are multiple ways to ‘resolve’ your bizarre confinement and find the way out. Steal, sell, trade, break in, sneak out… what’s a little felony between friends?

MANAGE THEIR MOODS

The town and its Colossal Policeman all have reactive mood systems and live their lives independently on their own schedules. Everyone hates you, but everyone also hates HIM. Use this to your own advantage but remember that they will also react to your dialogue choices and actions, be they kind or illegal.

OUTSMART THE LAW

You found flowers? Sell them and buy something else with the money, or keep them as a back-up to flirt with the Colossal Policeman and maybe even take HIM on a date - he has been quite moody of late.
Who knows, if brute force or theft don’t succeed, seduction might get you somewhere?

YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES

You conspired with the train driver to sneak on board. The plan fell apart, leaving the train smashed and the driver injured. Next time, get a job at the train station instead and the driver will be fine. Careful what you do or say, the town will remember.

EVERY ESCAPE IS DIFFERENT

He caught you this time, didn’t he? Well, let’s try again with a different approach, find another, smarter, more imaginative solution. The Colossal Policeman will recall what you did last and adjust his behaviour accordingly.
